ohhh hey thanks man. I tested the stock light unplugged and replugged the battery, and my crusie control works now, and fixed my car alarm spaz issue. Now I gotta find a LED load resistor.

is this what I need? http://www.eautoworks.com/product-Led-33226.htm my 3rd brake light has a led strip light in it like from 1 of those LED tubes except without the tube so i have no idea what i need.

Actually unplugging the battery might have been all that it needed. Try hooking the LED light back up and see if it still does it (after disconnecting the battery beforehand of course).

thats retarted of chevy... but all you need is a giant resistor of some kind. Soak up all kinds of power and turn it into heat

Here's what the light looks like: http://www.modernperformance.com/ima...brakelight.JPG Hopefully someone can determine what kind I need from the picture.

I got the light from a member at a cobalt meet.

that's the LED 3rd brake light i have, i got in on the first group buy for these way back when...

i haven't had any problems with mine, i even drove to the hardware store to get some new double sided tape without any 3rd brake light and never had an issue with my CC on the highway.

if it came from ModernPerformance originally, they might be able to help you.

So in the first post you said you tried searching. Then a few post later you do a search and find your answer. Why did you make this thread?

Because at the time I posted it, I couldn't find it. Then I did. Would you have rather me make a new topic? You guys get annoyed by that. But anyway anyone know what resistor I need?
