Kenwood 7120 Install Questions

Hey All,
So I'm thinking of purchasing the Kenwood 7120 HU. I like the all touch screen and the Garmin GPS, so yeah...

I currently have the 7 speaker Pioneer with Onstar Setup (seriously, does anyone ever really use onstar anyways?) in a 09 Sedan SS.

My questions are that I'd like to put in the order shortly, but I'm not so sure about what all accessories I need. Along with the HU I was going to get the PAC-SWI JACK steering wheel control, and then I'd like to keep my XM radio, but I'm not sure what all I'll need to do that. I was going to purchase the KCA-XM100V accessory, but does this hook up to my antenna? Do I need to buy the AudioVox XM mini tuner cartridge also? Any other accessories that I should definitely look into?

Finally, let's say I change my mind and go Pioneer? Any suggestions on pros v. cons for Pioneer v Kenwood since I have a stock pioneer system?

Thanks in advance!

i would say that intergrating the factory xm to the aftermarket headunit ..not gonna happen, but on a side note probably going to need das kit =99-3002, harness= gmos lan 04, and antenna adaptor =40cr10, all metra parts. you can intergrate the factory antenna , but will need and antenna exstension( either Xm or Sirius ) i used the sirius one and it works fine. the harness above will also give you brake and NAV wires in the harness. If you go with the xm unit you will need the xm cartridge if the Xm specific box is the NEW XM DIRECT 2. I would recommend going with a double din to cut down on the flip out going IN and OUT alot. May wear out someday. Unless the kenwood 7120 is a double din ...then disregard what i just said about flip outs. If it is a flip out the dash kit changes to 95-3302 also METRA parts. and other questions shoot them out!

I want to install a kenwood double din in my balt, even if I dont have onstar, do i need the gmos lan 04 harness? I would rather not spend that much money on a harness if its not necessary
