Kicker Comp VT in stock enclosure

has anyone tried this sub out to see if it fit, if it does it has a ton of boom, ive been thinking about getting one but the depth seems awefully close

For that matter what other subs will fit in the stock enclosure and be a nice upgrade

Go for it you got nothing to loose by trying.I would use a 12" sub and build a new bigger box but still mount it in the same spot,
and put one on the other side too. If you really want to pound.

I have a kicker zx400.1 so power isnt an issue, I was looking at the pioneer and thats prob what i will end up with as the kicker box volume is requiring a bit more than what the stock sub enclosure is

no just wired it to the 2 red wires and the 2 black wires in the factory box. just twisted them and attached them to the sub.
