OK heres what I came up with:
Radioshack: 0.5-amp SPST Reed Relay $2.99
1/2" Round Ceramic Magnets $1.99
Ebay: DEI 513T 120dB Mini Piezo Siren aka Pain Generator $13.98 shipped
I especially like the size of this siren which I found to be 2 1/4"L by 1 3/4"W by 1 1/2"H.
So for about $20 you can have a mini alarm to keep ******** from jacking your ****. I would mount the switch on the dash behind the trim and glue the magnet to the trim.
One thought I do have is I don't recall if the Reed Relay I linked to is Normally Closed. I will keep researching tomorrow.

they are legal, and hurt like hell (had to try and find my valet switch onetime with my alarm going off)
