Looking for 12v Lead

The amp I am using requires a 12v lead for it to know when to turn on. Where in the trunk area could I find this? Obviously I would have to have some type of switch to turn it off when the car isn't occupied.

You need to tap the sunroof fuse in the fusebox in the dash on the passenger side. Or I guess if you don't mind a switch you could wire up a wire directly from the battery and put a switch in between. To each their own.

Exactly! Do not wire an amp to your sunroof if you turn your radio off your amp will still be on and you could get some noise out of your speakers. You really need to tap into the remote line that is in the factory harness.

or you can tap into the windshield wiper fuse and put an in-line switch, thats what i did, was really easy, i got a 1 to 2 fuse adapter made by "BUSS" fuses, the switch is nice cuz i can turn off the sub/amp when i go into neighborhoods (*** im not an a-hole like that lol) but still hear my music
