looking for small amp sugestions?

I have the pioneer 7 speaker system in my 09 with the factory radio, have upgraded the door and rear deck speakers to infinity's and changed the rear sub speaker to an alpine but want to put a small amp on only the sub to give it a lil more kick.I'm looking for possible suggestions on the amp and how I would go about wiring it in to the sub?thanks

Any of the class D's would be great, maybe one of the Alpine ones. (there tiny) or one of the Blaupunkt amps. If it has a High input you can use that, otherwise you'll need a line output converter.

x2 class d is just diffrent technology. more expensive to make then class a/b and run mor efficient. only downside is they mainly only work as sub amps. Check the alpine to see what ohms its running and that will let you know if u need a 2 channel (4 ohm) or mono block (2 ohm)

my Alpine sub is a 2 ohm dual voice coil so I guess it would be a mono?

I take it that you mean dual 2 ohm voice coil (which would make it 1 ohm or 4 ohm capable) and whats the recomended RMS wattage for the sub?

the sub I have is an Alpine SWS-1023D rated at 50-300w RMS from what the spec sheet shows.Any suggestions as to an amp for it?somebody recomended a Orion Cobalt CO600.2 amp, what do you guys think?Apparently I will not need a line out converter with this amp??
