Looking to upgrade sub

5000W Rockford Fosgate Sub + Renegade Amp + Enclosure + Amp Kit

I'm very fresh into audio and looking to replace my stock 10'' with something much more powerful. I'm wondering if I buy this kit will it be decent and what else would I need to do the job.

Thank you

mmm subs decent, amp is questionable, box could be better, wiring sucks but should be ok in a cobalt. it will defiantly get louder then the stock 10 idk how much thou

if you have the stock radio you will also need a line output converter

What set up would recommend as an upgrade(and why, as I would like to learn something from all of this haha)? I would prefer to remove the stock sub and amp and just flat out replace them with a new single amp and sub.

Also, I have an aftermarket kenwood HU

it all depends on how loud your really looking to go to be honest. for 200 bucks thats pretty cheap but nothing in that setup is really awesome. the prime r2 subs are defiantly a great buy because they beat alot of the comp in that price range but its not rock your socks awesome either
