they are ok nothing great thou. dont pay attention to the rated rms numbers because they are bullshit. put 1kw to a pioneer champion and see what happens

not all meters are created equal... i can get 151db out of an audiocontrol without a car or speakers

hopefully DD because the mtx 9500's suck. infact we had one at the shop that was like sorta broken but still played (cracked dustcap and the terminal broke off but coil and everything was perfect) after much debate we just threw that bitch away

ya we actually have one of those meters at the shop as well... the only thing i found it was useful for was measuring to see if some sound dampening i did made a difference (passenger side vs drivers side)

Even if it did go higher i wouldn't buy it to measure bass output

you think my lfa power acoustik amp that puts out 1700 rms at 2 ohms would be ok running two pioneer champions that are dual 4 ohm? idk the rms wattage on 4 ohm of the amp.

whats the model of the amp. assuming its actually rated at 1700 it should work well because those subs cant take 1k rms as they claim and the PA probably wont produce its power rating anyway either

LFA1-4000D. says 1200 rms at 4 ohms on PA.com. and with my bandpass box the subs magnets are in the same sealed enclosure. I dont want to change the box

you should be fine at 4 ohms. 5-600 per sub is much more realistic

haha back in the day my friend had a Mazda with the loudest system in the county,

I had my Cavalier it was pretty loud but not as loud, but my advantage was that my system was crystal clear, his was just a bunch of noise.

So I'd always take him in sound offs.

And Yeah that setup for the OP looks fucked.

um one is 275w the other is 750w. the ohm or impedance only changes what amp u need to get to run full power. there is no gain either way
