i had such a hard time getting these damn bulbs out lol but it turned out well. a lot of people worry about them always staying on, but the power draw won't drain anything. i got lucky with them turning completely off when the car is off, but the red light stays on (really dim) when the car is on. i also have the license plate LED as well, all bought from superbrightleds.com

 

Those bulbs are the biggest PITA to get out.

 

That's how i got them off, no broken bulb and not that hard.

Just rip out the bulbs with a pair of needle nose pliers. It took me like 5 minutes to swap the bulbs.

 

exactly. If you build a noose then you just slip it over, tighten down and pull. Come right out.

 

You don't need anything else other than bulbs?
