So I've never made a build thread before so I'm going to give it a shot here.
I ditched my 2 12" Orion setup and I'm going to build a Rockford system. For the new system I'm going to be running a single Rockford Fosgate T0D212 and a Rockford Fosgate T600-2 amplifier, the trunk is going to be custom pics as progress continues

Started by taking everything out of the trunk, including the stock sub (idk why I never pulled it out), and taking measurements


Replacing battery with optima yellow top


Box is almost done

 

I have the same battery. Good luck with your build a single is the way to go

I am I just haven't had time to lay it down, I've been working on it after work and between appointments, so it's kind of hard to get stuff done. But the box itself is finished, I just have to build all the beauty boards and the false floor

So it's all hooked up and working, new battery is in place, just have to finish the floor and do some more fine tuning here's some more pics.

So one major change, swapped the T600-2 for a t5001bd. Didn't like the way the 600 sounded and the t500 puts out 100 more watts RMS

Ok I'll look them up JJ; it's fun but some cars can get frustrating, but I like the end results when everything works and sounds good

 

for sure bro have u done anything with the new 2014 power amps? i think only one of them is out or something idk but i wanted to do the mon and 4 chan in my new cobalt

 

No they haven't even started shipping yet, the T500 I'm using is a 2013 model. Yea that's my next step a 4 channel, a 360, t5 components in the front and T1 6x9s in the rear deck. I kind of regret doing this T0 though, it is wayyyyy too loud, it blows sunroof open and every part of the car rattles lol

 

lol u can always change it to sealed...

ya man i need to see about getting the 3sixty.2 i have fixed so i can sell it or something

 

Just contact rockford you should be able to get it fixed, and yea a sealed box will make it quieter but It's too much work at this point lol
