Yea sealed boxes do sound very clear. What did your old system consist of?

 

the bass was 2 RE XXX 15s (2005 model) in a 5cu double chambered sealed box running off a T40001BD

JJ dumb question, but how do you remove the rear deck lid. I know I probably have to remove the pillars n fold the seats down but just by glancing at (I haven't messed with the deck lid) I don't see slits for the seatbelts. Any ideas?

 

You will need to remove the side trim that goes completely around the windows (top section removes separately from the rest of the side) headrests, and from there it pretty much all falls into place. Be careful of airbags

 

Thank you, have to cut a hole in it to let that woofer breath and hush mat the roof n doors

 

right just remember you cannot remove the deck entirely without unbolting the seat belts as there are no slits. so you will just have to put it on the side or cut slits in the panel.

I must be getting old, because it's too loud lol! I was surprised by the clarity of the sub, I was expecting loudness but not a lot of precision; So I can say I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm happy with it, it sounds good at normal volumes but there's the extra bass if you just want to show off lol

 

nice. y hopefully soon ill get started on a build as well. just holding out to see how the new fosgate amps are

 

Same here I hope they are pretty good, but I don't doubt they will be
