I would like to replace my stock HU in my 09 SS with a galaxy tablet and was wondering if i can use a mini amp to replace the radio and still keep my stock amp and speakers?? if not i will have to find a location to relocate my HU and any advice on that would be appreciated.

 

depends on the output of the galexy but i dont see why not. neither way would be easy

ive seen it done in other vehicles just wasnt sure if it would work in the cobalt

 

oh **** i forgot the pioneer system... actually u can run it off just that no amp needed

 

doesnt the stock amp require something from the stock radio?

 

a remote turn on but u cant get that from the tab anyway
