I am in the process of buying a pioneer AVIC N3 and I was wondering if what kind of an installation kit everyone is using they told me the land kit that they think I need which is $300 for the kit and it has a built in computer does or there is the other regular installation kit for $30 does anyone know if I can use the cheap kit or if I need the one with a built in computer for some reason.

Alright I think I figured it out but im not sure. I believe I don't need the expensive dash kit and harness right? But what is that expensive kit for exactly if you don't need it. Is it just for cars with onstar or something?
