Mounting sub boxes
I am planning on making a custom fiberglass sub box but I was wondering how everybody attached their boxes to their trunks. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Do you think attaching it to the piece of wood or whatever it is that covers the spare tire would hold it securely enough because I would still like to be able to access the spare and the battery.

ACTUALLY i wouldnt use any bolts or screws. I dont believe in screwing in any other holes than the ones needed to seal the subs.
Have you tried velcro?? Like industrial velcro. Trust me...Few pieces of that it aint moving

I use a holder thing from semi battery boxes on most of my sub boxes. They can be unhooked in a few seconds to alow you to get to the spair and battery and hold the box in place vary well.

If you are going to put holes in your box I would cover each with silicon or liquid nail after. Or, Bondoing the whole bottom of the box after the screws are in would work the best. This doesn't add to ease of removal though so it would have to be in a place you like it and never want to move it.
