Exclamation Need advice

Ok guys so I have finally decided I want to get a 12 in sub to go with my stock 10 and I'm gonna be using the line out method. My question is what brand sub should I get to have a good pound to it but still sound good? Also what wattage should I be looking for? This is the first time for me buying subs so please bear with me
