Need help with troubleshooting my Avic-D3

Hi i recently installed the Pioneer Avic-D3 touch screen dvd nav in my 05 ss/sc cobalt.
now heres the issue. this radio came out of another cobalt becasue my friend desided to get rid of the car. now the radio worked when it came out of his car and went into my car a month later, not after it was installed we powered it on and it came on like it should and went to asking him his sec question, what was his dads middle name... so we try to touch the screen and the screen wont allow us to type in the answer like it is frozen. any ideals anyone????

yikes, if you reset it by unplugging it and it still freezes, you might be screwed.

Did you push the reset button on the d3 itself?
