Anyone have Digital design subs and amp in there car, if so how do they sound? I want to get a little more attention at car shows and audio is what my car is lacking . I installed a alpine iva-w200 head unit and , I just bought 4 -8" dd1500 and a dd C4a amp .I still have to make the box and amp rack. what is best to make the box out of wood or fiberglass?I can work well with both,but I know nothing about what will make **** sound the best. Any suggestions ? Another thing should I take out the factory 10" ?

All I know about them is they were bought march 07 .Then 2 days later the guy totaled his car. They were never installed only amp and 1 speaker box opened .the dudes wife left him last monday(kicked him out)so now he needs money for a place to stay .He showed me the paper work he bought them and had paid $978.43 .for all of it. I offered 300 he said no then called me back and and asked if I would give him 375$ for them .Paid him half last night and half when he brings them after work monday(would have brought today but I am sick and dont feel like dealing with him today) .So I think I got a good deal from what I have been looking around at.I will send you the # off of them tomarrow night to see what you can find out .

looks like a bigger mag replaced the enlarged back plate. But we sell those for 180 each so 375 is a bomb deal

Don't know much about the DD stuff, but anything would be a improvement over stock.

Fiberglass is definitly going to get more attention a shows IMO, as long as it's done correctly.

My setup is about 50/50 fiberglass and mdf. If you use wood, make sure it is MDF!!!
