I was going to put a Slot Drive DVD Player there on mine. Helps with the car computer builds. Turned out pretty good though!

Iv got my dvd drive in the trunk with the computer since I so rarley use it. My car pc has internet so I just sync with my servers whenever I get new stuff. And movies make there way over on usb hard drives.

I did this a couple weeks ago (but I screwed it up and broke it, so I have 3 more adapters on the way)...basically the same except that I used a 12v to USB cig adapter and took it apart and cut it into the airbag filler in the dash. I got my cig adapters at http://www.monoprice.com/products/se...d=3523&x=0&y=0
only cost me $1.12 each

I made a circuit that hooks up to the usb its a 1inch by 1inch board and that will power like 3-4 things if anyone wants it ill make a pic of the circuit.

Awesome mod. Been wanting to rewire my aux port somewhere else than the head unit because of the need to use the console for drinks / driving and I hate messy wires all over the car...

Sub'd for later if you write up a how to guide with the wiring diagram for dummies like me =)
