But, I just picked up my 2005 cobalt LS a couple of days ago so please bare with my question.

I do not have an auxiliary input presently and want to add one. A friend has offered to sell an adapter to me that might work. Can anyone tell me if it will work? It is a CDRB10 Car Stereo MP3/Minidisc Adaptor. Where would I plug it in? (Assuming on back of the radio?) Standard MP#/cd factory stereo which I want to keep.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

 

no it will not work, only works on aftermarket pioneer decks because the stock doesnt have the ip bus connector and my 08 deck is a panasonic so the 05 could be a panasonic too and not a pionner.
