ohms are confusing
a shitty legacy 1000 watt, rms was 450 @ 2ohm
ok, so i didnt blow my amp, my fuse block melted and the fuse didnt pop, so i think my audio stor gave me the wrong fuse for my amp and everything, but i put in another amp and subs i had and it still doesnt work, could i have fried something else?, i am using a line out converter if that matters at all?, i like the stock headunit untill i get my dbl din touchscreen

test for 12v using the pos and ground on the amp, test for 12v using remote and ground on the amp and test for ac voltage on the RCA and at the amp outputs... could easily be the fuse on the remote wire
checked the fuse on the amp and on the remote wire, they are fine, im hoping its just i need a new fuse block, i noticed that the stock sub is crackling now, so i think i may have fried something, but the stock sub was not touched at all by me, could i have fried my line out converter?

recheck all your connections and do a 12V test there as well as Emperor said. most of the time, crackling is cause by faulty hookups. also make sure you do not have power cables running next to signal cables, these should be run down opposite sides of your car.
