Unhappy Ok Im stumped...

So Im installing a touch screen deck, well I got a harness from Best buy but even with it being plugged up and all the wires wired together I got all functioning power but no sound..., so with me fustrated I go take a **** brake and come back buddy had cut my factory harness off.... bummer... so a little yelling we decided to hardwire seeings how thats are only option now cause he cut the other wires really short on factory harnesss which makes it very useless now... So my qustion is with all my wiring connected because I get power to the head unit and I have the radio on, or even the cd player playing a cd, I still get no sound, is there something I have to bypass on the factory amp, maybe using RCA's or what...? Im totally fustrated and cant think, so if anyone can help me I'd really really apprciate it. Thanks guys. Also I have the Pioneer set up in mine..

Yeah I did that I hooked it up to a green I believe, I looked at the harnesses to be sure which one that one went to, but still no sound..

Or wait scratch what I said ok misread ok yeah that one I remember now I dont have it hooked up so does it matter which one its hooked to on the harness?

Because think the only ones not hooked up are a white with black stripe, teal//green, and the light pink...

Anyone? any ideas?

take the remote wire from the headunit, and hook it to the light pink wire on the stock harness side. thats the turn on for the stock amp, and if the stock amp isnt on, it wont produce any sound.
