Ok, yes, I'm a *******. I'll be the first to admit it. I bought the GMOS lan 04 harness from amazon.com, and when I got it, it appeared to be sealed in factory packaging. Well apparently, they didn't give me the side of the harness that plugs into the factory harness, the 16 pin side. Instead, they gave me the 14 pin connector side twice, the part that goes into the aftermarket radio. Now, if I was smart, I would have caught this right away, but I didn't know what was supposed to come with the harness. Now I'm beyond the return period, and it looks like I'm kinda screwed. Anyone know where I can find just the 16 pin side? It's this part

Email them and explain the issue. They should send you that part. You'll have to email the actual seller. Amazon.com isn't usually the one selling the stuff.

 

It said on the site and on my receipt, Sold by: Amazon.com, LLC, so oddly they are the sellers. I've sent an email to metra just in case they might be able to help, but I doubt it. I'm writing an email to amazon right now.

ok so maybe I over-reacted a little, guess I was just pissed off. Anyways, amazon is giving me an extended return period and have agreed to do a free exchange for a replacement. Should ship out in the morning, I'm just pissed that I'm not going to be able to install my radio when it gets here tomorrow.

Get a hold of Metra Electronics man...they are the manufacturer of the Axxess interfaces. Also, check out a bay at a local Best Buy, explain what you're looking for and they should have some extras if they want to be nice. I know if you came to mine, I would pass one over to you :p
