Just got in a PAC SWI-X because my JVC head unit doesn't have a remote jack. I'll let you know how it goes. Though it may be awhile before I get everything installed.

I have the PAC SWI-Jack connected to my Pioneer Avic D3 Navi/DVD unit and it works great. I can control the volume, song tracks, source, mute, radio, band and radio station frequency from the Steering wheel.

I have no lag with mine either. Works great, just like factory. The only concern I had was that when I shift the tilt steering up and down, something I do often I thought I might loosen the wires. But no problems yet.

It works fine ... I don't think it's laggy, I guess that would depend on the head unit more than anything.

Why would you loosen the wires the only connection you need for the box is on the headunit harness, my box is right behind my head unit not on the steering wheel
