pioneer head unit

Anybody have this head unit, or hear anything about it?

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Wi4ZzIj...P590&s=0&cc=01

Thinking about putting it in, im going to have to get the steering wheel control adapter and the ipod adapter.

The guy told me that if i change the head unit i will loose my factory sub? is this true?

i have a aftermarket deck but an aftermarket sub and i asked if there would be a way to hook up the stock pioneer sub to it and he said its really not worth doing, its going to be so hard to do, but the steering wheel controls, thats also a bitch to install, thats why i didnt get them because i never use them

The steering wheel interface that PAC Audio makes really isn't that hard to do.... I installed mine with an Eclipse deck. The interface itself probably only took me about a half hour to install.

my friend put that in his corolla and now he needs to get new speakers all around for the amount of power that thing is pushing out. 2 speakers broke after the first song he listend to in it. its a beast head unit so its worth it.
