Pioneer speakers impedence

Would anyone know if the Pioneer speakers are 2 Ohm or 4 Ohm.

Just about to change the HU and will be using the pioneer speakers until I can purchase other speakers.

Would it be safer to put the base speakers back in?

Right now I have the stock Pioneer in the car.
I previously had the base audio system that comes standard with the LS.

i belive he may be talking about bass blockers.... they are basiclly crossovers to take out the bass on midranges (which is what normally "blows" them in the first place) but since ur issue is a low ohm load they wont help u

if you have the stock amp then it wont matter... but i would pull it once u get aftermarket speakers.

Right now adding the aftermaket hu will give u a bunch of overlap power wise (not good but not really bad either) because you are giving the amp an already amped signal to amplify. But once u get aftermarket 4 ohm speakers then you are getting only half of the signal the stock amp is supposed to put out. so the stock amp ends up just being a noise maker.
