Pioneer touchscreen radio question
ive looked around and found some pioneer AVIC models that say they offer gps nav and come with a receiver, does this mean its free navigation and then every yr you have to buy the new software update to keep your maps current? was gonnaget my stock back in but would rather go this route as ive seen some people with nice touch screens. what models have been the best for people? also ive seen some ken woods, anyone know which models in particular are good with a decent price that come with NAV?
Do you have an iPhone or a flagship Android phone? If so I would wait for the Pioneer AppRadio 3. You'll be able to mirror the display from your phone on to the 7" touchscreen. From there you can use Google Maps or whatever iOS uses.
go with kenwood if they are still running garmin. I would double check with whatever company you purchase from but traditionally you buy it and the nav works forever. If you want it updated (if they offer updates) then it costs
