PLEASE clear this up for me.

I went to my store (yes, the dreaded car audio area of Best Buy...) and got all the components needed for my system. Our installer sold me the Scosche GMLAN2SR unit, saying it will work with my car since I do not have OnStar or XM... however, after doing some reading and research, it seems like this unit will not work, but I am not 100% certain on that. Is there anyone that can give some insight on EXACTLY what I need?

The car is a 2007 LT Cobalt with the standard 4-speaker system and the AUX headunit.

I have the same car as u... u will need this harness, the Scosche GM22SR...
