Positive Battery Terminal Replacement

I am having an issue that my Cobalt won't start, I am surely positive its the battery terminal as it was very malleable (its weak if this rubs y'all wrong) I have found the replacement but I am having issues as replacing the whole cable from the battery to the I believe starter. Could someone show me from where I should lift the carpet and seats and where to run the new cable?

That's how its sitting right now cut I cut the cable but I dont really like how it looks, also I tried using a regular terminal from Amazon but that one cable is thick as hell.

these generic ones will fit the cable right in the middle. then you can add any additional runs with a ring terminal on the top (inbetween the bolt and above the camp)
