looks like ur gonna have a nice system. I want to do one, but then i dont. im more of a go fast guy, so i like less weight, but i want a system for the bumpage. im still deciding.

 

Hah, I see I have turned EmperorJJ over to the dark side that is Kenwood eXcelon. And everything I listed is their brand new model year, which sounds unbelieveable for the price. And I mean the normal price, now the crazy cheap prices that site list them at.

look at hertz energy 6.5 coax up front along with a second skin speaker tweaker kit and hertz energy 6X9s in the back.

Not something super bassy but by far the most bass you would get out of door speakers. Weight added 2 pounds max

not quite but for the price it is a damn good deal

Thats not the hard way. Its the way alot of people start.

I do recomend you swap the HU out as the same time. It makes life easier and makes the system sound better

 

Either way just put the LOC behind the hu other then the rear speakers if your not swapping the hu right away. That way you dont have to re run RCA later (then again if your going to run a highs too then you would)

 

im just gunna do that shitty audiobahn headunit for 80 bucks cuz it does all i need it to

in the end im going to be running an amp to 4 new speakers so the power isnt an issue, it plays mp3 cds, burnt cds and has 3 4 volt pre amp outputs

btw, how are the alpine type r speakers and type s subwoofers

i think im gunna go that route

 

like i said im not trying to discourage you but not everything is how it seems. like your 1000w sub that weighs as much as the cardboard box it came in, or the 500w 6X9s, or the engine grounding kit that adds mega HP, or the electric supercharger (fan).... audiobahn went out of business for a reason
