Problem with aftermarket stereo.

I purchased a compatible aftermarket stereo for my '05 Cobalt LS. I have all the required adapters and wire harnesses. I connected all the wires to the proper colors using electrical tape. For whatever reason, the stereo will not turn on at all.

This is my first time doing something like this so I may have messed up, I just have no idea where. Everything connects properly and looks perfect. I just can't get any power to the stereo.

Anyone have a clue what may be my issue? I'm too broke to take it to a professional.

Read the instruction book for the headunit and the harnesses, sometimes some colors don't match up or are not needed
