Problem hooking up RCA and new radio

Hey guys I have a problem with my new radio I just put a pioneer radio in my car and was hooking my amp up to it with my RCAs but I have ran into the problem of the RCAs are hitting the piece at the back of the radio housing, anybody had this problem or know what to do to fix it. I thought about drilling a hole but not sure?

Yup you will probably have to drill a hole or cut some piece off

I broke the plastic and bent the metal piece behind it. It's easy to bend with enough desire

that metal piece is actually easily removable if I recall, I don't think I bent it, pretty sure its just 8mm bolts on either side to remove.

Cut the plastic out and then the metal brace I am pretty sure is only held in with screws.
