Problem! Trying to hook up a speaker

I brought the Pioneer speaker box off of a friend from his SS Cobalt and i was wonding how to hook it up in my 08 Cobalt LS. Is there any way to do that if so how? thanks.

whats the problem? the light colored wires are the hot wires and the dark are the nuetral or ground wires

my problem is how to hook it up. what wires should i connect and connect wire should i know connect?

Sounds like you have the subwoofer? If so you need an amp to power it.

yes its just the subwoofer. do i need the amp to make it work?

you're going to need an amp, wiring kit, and a line-out converter.

You will need an amplifier, a LOC, and a speaker wiring kit. You may need to rewire the sub itself depending on what you need to do in regards to impedence (A soldering iron is handy).
