Proper wiring for sub and amp
I know this has been discussed before on different setups, so i just wanted to verify what the proper wiring would be for this setup.
The Amp:
MTX TA8502
4 Ω 125W x 2
2 Ω 250W x 2
1 Ω 375W x 2
4 Bridged 500W
2 Bridged 750W
Link to more specifics on the amp:
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products...hunder8502.cfm
The Subs:
MTX Thunder7512
Impedance 4 Ω (SVC)
RMS Power (Watts) 400
Link to more specifics on the subs:
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products...hunder7500.cfm
What's the best method of wiring these up? I'm slightly confused by the different methods, parallel/series/bridged, etc.
thanks for the help guys

Because those ratings are based off a 14v output which I believe is a little high, usually around 12.6v you'd get slightly less.
My best guess...
Run the subs in Parallel to obtain a 2ohm Bridged signal. To wire them in parallel just connect both the positives together and wire them to the positive terminal, then connect both the negatives together and run them to the opposite negative terminal.
This would give you about 700 watts split between the 2. So roughly 350watts RMS.
