question about door speakers

Are they easy to replace? Are there many small parts on the door panels that could break and whatnot? just curious cause I'd rather do them myself but I havent done much of this type of work for years now. thanks in advance. btw this is replacement of non-premium speakers..

Actually you have to buy new doors with the new speakers already in them. Its that difficult.

Ok all joking aside. Its pretty easy. Just be careful taking off the door panel. I think there are clips that can break, but not very easily. But from what I heard, the basic 4 speaker system, the front 2 speakers are glued in place. But I'm not sure.

ya there might be a how to on removing the door panel but its not that hard. 3 screws and a bunch of clips. lift up on the top part by the window to get it loose then just pull (i like to start with the bottom because its easier for me that way) The stock speakers have a braket that is built into the sepaker so replacing it with an aftermarket one might require you to build a braket or somehow cut out the stock speaker. Reason i said might thou is because one of the installers at the shop said he didnt need one for the RE 6.5s that he put in his car. I made them for my GF when i put the same speaker in thou
