Question about fog lights

So I have a LT that is already wired for fogs and I'm wanting to buy a fog light kit. My question is, how do I control the fog lights? I have no fog light button on the interior. Do they just come on with the low beams or something?

Thanks

see if there is a pigtail behind your left most trim piece on the dash. i believe it would be a two wire plug. if thats there then all you would need is the factory switch and trim piece to hold it.

Alright I'll take a look, hopefully the trim and factory switch are easy to come by. So you have to turn them everytime you start the car?

its not that its "work" its just stupid. i would think a regular ass switch that on or off would be cheaper for gm anyway

So if I install the lights before I get the button installed will the fogs not turn on at all?

I don't see how else they would, unless your car is wired up differently.

Stock config has a button next to dimmer switch.

I'm having trouble finding that dash piece without buying like a $200 kit. Anyone know where I can find just that one piece? I might just wire them to the low beams

Either the yard like Emperor said, or post up in the classifieds.
