Angry R vs. P

So I'm mega mad , my P2's just gave out today. ASAFP I'm gonna get two new ones for the box i have now, it holds 2 12" subs. Whats better the Alpine type R's or Rockford Fosgate P3's??

I have a 12" Type R, its not insane, its very crisp clean bass.
As emp said, if you want loud go for the p3's.

Ya I definitely want loud. I listen to more rock than anything else so I want 'em to be good for the double bass too. I'm probably gonna go with P3's unless I decide T1's are worth the extra money.

the type-r isn't the loudest of the bunch, but it is one of the best sounding and most reliable subs in the mainstream.

p3's are good for the bump bumps, but i wouldn't buy em.

Ya I've been trying to decide. I talked to some more people and they all recemended Rockford but I'm just not sure about spending twice as much for T1s... as sweet as it would be

couldn't one go as far to say the majority of it is in the enclosure?

i've seen a ten with a big and well designed box before out-blurb guys running 12's and 15's. biggest diff? enclosure.

If this is what you are looking for, i'd go for the type r..

I listen to a lot of metal and the double bass is just wicked!
