My radio will change the equalizer to 2 notches up on bass and treble for no aparent reason it seems. I will set the equalizer to be even on bass and treble then change the radio station and it resets itself to 2 notches on bass and treble. BTW this only happens on the radio stations and not when you change tracks on a cd or mp3 disc.

 

It is a feature. The radio saves the EQ settings when you set the presets. It also saves them for the CD and AUX inputs. If a station doesn't have its own setting it goes to the default for the band (AM/FM). You have to set it for each if you want different settings on different stations.

 

You radio presets also save the EQ settings so if your changing stations using the radio presets it will change the EQ settings..
