You mean a DVD/Nav unit? Or just a plain old LCD that you can connect anything too?

The answer is yes to both. We have a 2-DIN design so most things can fit. If you mean that you want to actually watch live TV, you can do that too with an LCD screen and an antenna.

That is exactly what I am saving up for. I hate the kind that slide and pop out. Those units are for 1-DIN cars. We have a 2-DIN which means we can squeeze in one of those units that are flush with the dash. Keep the OEM look, which in my opnion looks way better than 1-din sliders.

So far everyone that has gotten a DVD/Nav system has gotten a 1-din slider, which I dont know why.

The unit I am saving up for is the Pioneer AVIC-Z1.

IMO this is probably your best choice but very expensive. Eclipse has nice ones also, like the AVN7000 but it only supports sirius and I wanted to keep my XM.

Also a question I have about that system for the people on here that know more about car electronic than I.

Could I keep the Pionoor amp and speakers that are already in the car and connect it to this? I don't plan on adding any more subs or speakers, I think the 7 spkr system sounds great. I also don't want to buy another amp if I don't need to.

Yeah, those are 2-DIN design, they dont pop out or anything, they are just the screens that always stay visible. Flush with the rest of the Dash.

Thats what the Z1 unit I showed you above is like. Same with that Eclipse AVN7000.

To make it look real nice though, you might need to custom fabricate a bracket to make it fit nice. I am not sure if those screens are the same exact size as the opening in our cobalts.

That looks very nice too, also a lot cheaper than some others. Only thing that would stop me from that would be XM probably. I would like to keep my stock XM on the roof and use it.
