Does anyone know if the base cobalt 5spd manual has RCA cable jacks in the stock head unit so i can hook up my amp?

 

i would seriously doubt it
use high level in or line level adaptor

 

does the SS/sc have rca jacks on the back of the head unit

 

no, i dont think any cars with a stock head unit will have RCA outs
you need to buy an adapter

 

i got an adapter it ran me about 40 bucks, i know you can get cheaper ones but they all had to much static...i got the audio link power link II works great all you do is splice into your speaker wires from behind your deck
