Ready for this.. JL

Tomorrow being installed: 2 10" JL w7s ported box to specs & JL 1000/1v2 pushing them. Wired in series @ 1.5ohms. I have a kinetik hc2000 sitting here but i'm not sure if I want to go that far with the install yet. I'm going to see how the battery holds up to the 1000w. Planning on putting the amp on the back seats.. subs will be a very tight fit and they will only be a few inches from the front of the trunk givin the amp a lil room to breathe. any other opinions? Id love to hear... ill have pics and my judgement tomorrow

Yeah. Hide it by installing it below the 6x9's. Thats how I had my 2 Kenwoods at one time.

It was a delay but I decided to sit on my 10s and I went with the JL 1000/1 on one single 12w7 in a ported box tuned to 32hz. didn't install the 2k yet, it doesn't seem to really bother the voltage even turned up. very very loud haha .. pics tomorrow

I put the sub in upside down so you can't see the emblem in the pic. i realized it after i put the back seat back together so oh well. here's some pics and when I sell the 12 i'm moving to the 10s and seeing how those do I have it tuned at highpass 125hz lowpass 80hz sub 0 bass 0 still sounds real nice

congrats on the trunk rattle mod. My cousin had one of those 10" subs in his Jetta... are you ******* insane? You will definately be a future victim of loud stereo systems at an early age. I remember that sub making my throat close at full base in a ported box. rediculous.
