Rear 6x9's

wow can anyone explain to me why they are covered??? they sound like **** and i wanna replace them but wow thatd be kinda pointless seeing as how theyll be muffled cus there covered, anyone notice how lame that is....lol pce

My reccomendation would be leave the stock 6x9s covered and put in two 6x9s in boxes. It would improve your bass and also your sound and also add another component set. I was possibly going to do that instead of adding a horn which sounds too TINNY.

you can cut out a hole and put in a new speaker with a gril, thats what i do when i install new 6x9's on most of my cars
but try fading the music to the front to 60-65%, it should sound better that way
6x9's are just to provide low response, not to be surround sound
