Rear view mirror - vibration....
Rear view mirror - vibration....
OK, I am asking this here, because the people who would have ran into this would have to have systems
How do you guys keep your rear view mirror from vibrating out of focus? Like, If i put it in the right spot, as soon as the bass hits it will move down and I cant see behind me until it put it back in the same spot again. problem with this is the base hits every couple of seconds so its really annoying to keep adjusting the mirror.
is there a way to remedy this, and if so what method have you employed to keep this from happening?

jeez... this question again? With a sub in your car, you are going to vibrate the mirror. You can try and put something behind the clip to try and cushion it but its still going to shake. Any sub that hits with any power is going to vibrate your mirrors.
You can try tightening the hex bolt behind your mirror and see if that holds....
....or just turn down the music.

its not the vibration that bothers me, it actually looks kinda kool. Its that the mirror will go down to the point hwere if you shut the music off, the entire this is black. You would have to move the mirror back into posisiton in order to see behind you and not up a girls skirt
i took mine off and put a little piece of dynamat between it and the windshield.. That is the only thing i know to do besides bracing the windshield.
you have to have a rearview mirror here to pass inspection or mine would be gone

ive had this problem and what i did was just went to the hardware store and got a star bit and tightened the screw up a little bit but i know thats only going to hold it for a little while i wanna try the dynamat idea to see if that works

its going to happen on any car that has a mirror that is adjustable
