Remote Start

Has anyone installed one a cobalt that hasnt come from the factory, I want to upgrade my system.

Was thinking about this: 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt Remote Start - Electronics - OEM Accessories but idk if its just the key fob or the whole system. Or should I just order through my local dealer and have them do everything?

yeah you get feedback from the car VIA the starter fob.
2-way is hands down the way to go if you dont have direct line of sight of the vehicle when remote starting it

right 2 way is confirmation of what you were trying to do. the fob will let you know if it starts or if it locks ect

it not only gives confirmation, but it reports back to you any time a zone is triggered i.e. trunk opened when armed, shock sensor set off, etc. if you have the alarm portion integrated as well

Youre in the US so it's probably even cheaper! Watch best buy when they have a sale, $130 installed for the starter and $100 for the bypass module. Thats CDN $ tho so its probably like $150 for everything for you guys.

Anything made in the last decade should have one, its just whether the installer is too lazy to hook it up or not
