Rockford Fosgate Prime Setup
Rockford Fosgate Prime Setup
I just put in my rockford fosgate system it only cost me 400 bucks... I've been running it since friday and no problems yet... no dimming lights etc... well maybe a little dimming but not much...
- Stinger 4 Guage wire...
- Stinger L/O converter
- I ran the wire to the fusebox in the front for a clean setup.
- 2 x R1S412 Rockford Fosgate 12inch subs
- R250-1 Prime 250 Watt Mono Amplifier
Its a nice setup... I was just wanting a little bump... but dang... sucker acually shakes the rear view around to the point where it moves out of line with the rear window...
Went to a local H-S football game and ppl where dancing to my music in the street...

Pics soon!

I've overheated the amp twice... but it was really hot out those days... just popped in and out of thermal...
I just put the fans on last week... Hasent overheated yet... just took 2 computer fans and tapped the remote wire and grounded them.
I plan on adding blue neon to the back trunk and the cabin... Still waiting on my streetglow lights. Had to cancel and reorder... so hopefully they come soon...
Um, you do know your battery is in the trunk, right? If you were to hook up directly both ground and positive to it then it will be easier on your alternator and your lights won't dim much if any. Wear and tear on a battery is a lot better than tearing up your car.

eh mybad didnt realize i left em out...
LOL
The ventilator for the amp is just two computer fans tapped into the ground and remote on the amp... Everything is ran under the seat for a clean install..

Not sure how i'm tearing up my car either... considering I could pull this system out in about 1-2 hours with no ill side effects...

I kept the wiring neat and tidy... everything is under the back seat...
Ah, ok. Just didn't think that was too healthy since your fueling, ignition, ECM, and etc. runs off of that feed as well. My system is ran with the wires under the trunk mat. Used to run two Mtx Thunder 8000 series 15s with an MRD-M1005 Alpine amp. Now I'm down to a powerbass competition 10 for weight reduction and thinking about putting the 15s back in. Bet your speakers pound pretty good. I personally like Rockford Fosgate and had a T1 15 in the back of the Balt at one point.
