Shiftlight in the SS/SC?

Shiftlight in the SS/SC?

My friend swares they have a shift light from the factory, is there one? If there is one is there a way to turn it on and off? I rember seeing a light in my old car that looked like a shift light but never turned on.

there is one but it doesnt turn on in the cobalt ss/sc

The Aeroforce Gauge has a shift light built in and you can set it for whatever you want

its there and it comes on on diff car and not on others. i think hptuners can make it work but im not so sure ive never heard concrete info

the shift lift is on the right side of your fuel gauge.

If you look at the pic you can see it. Its a circle with a plus sign in it.

yes there is one. But the pcm doesn't use it. I wish there was a way to adjust it.

it worked in my 2.2 i had. a little dissapointed that it doesn't work on the SS/SC.

i think stock is 6.5K (i should know, i drive one, but i dont...lol) and with staging it goes up to 7.2K

eh, it might be.....i have my interceptor set at like 5.8 that way by the time i acount for shift reaction i will be close...i dont look at my tach much

It will not make it work, because it needs to be programmed into the Gauge Cluster itself. - Like Steddy said.

Yep, it's called an engine overspeed warning. Blown 4-Banger found out that it comes on eventually.....LOL

4-banger didn't have head work done. If I had a stock head and internals I would never go over 7k neither

and this light does turn on, its in with the programing of the GM Stage 3. it is either something to do with the nitrous activation or with raising the rev limiter.
