Canada Sirius install location

I haven't yet seen anyone use this spot in the dash. But if you want to find a good location to install it I found the knock panel just below the radion will fit a Sirius SV1 with little modification. In fact about 15mins.

I try to stay from using suction cups on the winshield the cops will pull me over & ask where the radardector is. when i use my gps i get pulled over everytime. I got pinched a couple of years ago with a radardector, I gota speeding ticket, fine for the radardector & a fine too dark of tint.

that looks real nice. What all is behind there? I'm thinking about trying to find a way to put a little storage compartment in there since it's basically useless in the SS/SC.

there's only about 3/4 of an inch of room. Not really enough for anything. It's a realy c**t to get those panels off too.

I have the Sirius Sportster replay and I flipped mine over on the suction cup mount so it would stand upright. I mounted it in the cup holder and hard wired the power and groud and I put the antenna up by my boost guage on the dash. It is a nice and clean install. I will post pics when I take a couple.

how does your antenna work being inside the car? I had mine inside the windshield & it was awful.
