SOLVED! Optima Battery that fits! (Red Top)

After many hours of searching for what battery exactly fits I decided to try something I haven't seen done before. I purchased this battery:

RT F 4.2 | OPTIMABATTERIES

And I did a side terminal conversion (since I feel our terminals are inadequate anyhow) and it works perfectly. Going side terminal vs top post allowed me to run a shorter battery that actually clears the trunk mat!

Thanks guys. I have just seen so many threads and thought I would give an alternative since I had not seen this anywhere. They are also running a promo this month that I was lucky to stumble across:

My yellow top fits fine. That's because I have a raised floor for amps and such. Good find.

They can't be vented out of the car so you're letting chemicals out into the passenger compartment.

I forget which red top I bought but I had the same problem where when it was installed like the OEM battery it would be to high and the board that cover the batter and the spare tire would not sit flush. I tired lying down the battery on its side and it fits no problem and I was able to secure it with the strap that was there. Ill try and snap a pic and post it.
