Ok so I have the Pioneer 7800MP headunit installed into my 06 cobalt SS for awhile now and its been working fine...I get in the car to go to work today and notice that the headunit is on and no sound is coming out at all....soo im like alllrite i drive for a lil while and the sound finally comes on and then it cuts out again and i notice a faint noise sooo i turn the volume up to like 55 and i can hear the music playing VERY low....Do u think this would be a speaker or a headunit issue?? Everything was fine when I went out maybe an hour before going to work.

 

possibly hu issue, possibly the protection circuit in it, also possibly the factory amp is going out.

how is it connected?
