Alright so my car just came out of the shop tonight for some fresh paint on my rear bumper and low and behold my front left speaker is blown. I can only assume some punk ass kid pumped up my system and blew it out. Anyways I have Infinity components in the front, however I'm thinking about ordering Alpine full range 6 1/2's and just hooking them into the Infinity crossover with the Infinity tweeters, is that okay to mix like that? I don't want to take out the tweeters because I custom mounted them and they work fine.

 

yes but ordering coax's would be retarted seeing as the tweeter would be non funstional (due to the crossovers)

How much are you looking to spend on speakers? I may be able to get something at the shop

 

Well I cant find any speakers without the tweeter, i really dont care if the tweeter isnt used since i just need it for the midrange
