i've got an ss/sc and had my indash in an lt before. to make the stock sub to work will i need a different harness than i had before. im trying to do this tonight so somebody pls give me any answer.

ok thanks ill order on from crutchfield and do it this weekend i guess. is there extra factory wires for the sub?

 

when i had my avic-d3 put in all i needed was a wiring harness and the double dash thing, i believe the sub wires are already wired into the existing harness so you just have to put it in and your set....

 

depends on the yr. all 05-06 cars use the same harness. Then all 07+ pioneer have a module harness and al 07+ non pioneer have a module harness but all 07+ have a "universal" cheap harness

 

I have an 06 lt harness? So my pioneer ss sub will work through my kenwood ddx512 headunit?

I know all i need is a harness im just wondering if my ss sub will still work through my old lt harness

 

yes. u need to hook up the amp turn on wire and everything will work like stock

 

How do you do that? My sub does not have as much bass as it did with the stock h/u maybe my stock amp isnt connected?

 

should be the same... do u have a high pass x-over in ur deck?

the stock deck takes the 4 full range inputs and sends it to all the 7 speakers in the car including the sub. If its not working then all the speakers shouldn't work

 

They all work, but the bass is no where near how it was stock. Doesn't hit as hard as it did with the stock hu.

 

do u have a high pass filter on ur cd player? is it on?

 

I have some filter it doesn't say weather its high or low though. I set it at 50. I have a question though. This hu is pissing me off, and I'm bout to go back to stock. My car is an 08. Is it possible to use an 09 radio with the usb and bluetooth? Will the bluetooth work? If this works, do you know if the usb will play music from the ipod, and charge as well??

yes u can use an 09 radio and the usb should work. bluetooth might if u get the mic but idk. usb will not play or charge an ipod

where is the amp turn on wire thats my problem i figured there was one i hooked it all up and it turned on a had no sounds. thats explains ill go ahead and call myself a n00b dont worry about it.

it will be the pink wire in the car harness... blue white in the 2103 harness

 

so that needs to go to the power wire or the same fuse? Nice sig aswell

 

that needs to go to the remote wire from the aftermarket deck
